Porsche extends electric sports car model range with the Taycan 4S.

It was only in September that the new electric sports car from Porsche celebrated its high-profile premiere on three continents simultaneously. Now, the company is already presenting the third version of the sports sedan with the Taycan 4S.  

 


Special edition for anniversary: Porsche Panamera 10 Years Edition.

Porsche is celebrating the tenth anniversary of the Panamera line with a special edition. The new Panamera 10 Years Edition features particularly extensive standard equipment in the areas of comfort and the chassis, and has also been enhanced with exclusive design highlights.  

 


The all new Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Coupé and 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet.

Following the introduction of the standard 911 Carrera and 911 Carrera Cabriolet, Porsche is now expanding the line-up further with the all-wheel drive 911 Carrera 4 and 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet models.

Porsche presented its first fully-electric sports car to the public today with a spectacular world premiere held simultaneously on three continents.

After more than 30 years, Porsche returns to single-seater racing. Entering Formula E and the accompanying restructuring of the motorsport involvement can be derived from the 2025 Porsche strategy.  

 


Stronger, faster, more agile: the new Macan Turbo comes with 440 HP.

The new Macan Turbo has taken the top spot in the Porsche compact SUV model range, with immediate effect. The new 2.9-litre, six-cylinder biturbo engine in this extensively reworked top model offers 324 kW (440 HP), ten per cent more power output than its predecessor with 20 per cent less displacement.  

 


New Porsche Taycan sets a record at the Nürburgring-Nordschleife.

Porsche sets new standards for four-door, all-electric sports cars on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife. Consequently, test driver Lars Kern conquered the legendary track, famously known as the Green Hell, in seven minutes and 42 seconds.

The race car from Weissach, Germany has undergone improvements in all areas and will replace the successful 911 RSR with which Porsche won the manufacturers’ and drivers’ world championship in the FIA WEC as well as the Le Mans endurance classic (France) and the IMSA races at Sebring and Road Atlanta (Petit Le Mans) amongst other events in 2019.  

 


Kicking off in China: the Porsche Taycan prototype visits Shanghai.

A Porsche Taycan prototype has kicked off the first of three demonstration runs with laps on the handling track at the Porsche Experience Centre (PEC) in Shanghai, China.

The next generation of the Porsche Macan will be electric.

The Supervisory Board of Porsche AG has decided to manufacture the next generation of the Macan as a fully electric series. This will be the first all-electric compact SUV from Porsche, and is due to roll off the assembly line in Leipzig at the start of the next decade. 

 


All set for open-top season - the new 911 Cabriolet.

Six weeks after the Coupe's launch, attention turns to the 911 Cabriolet. The open-top 911 continues in a decades-long tradition, established when Porsche unveiled the prototype of the first 911 Cabriolet at the International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt in September 1981: customers and fans alike were instantly captivated. The first open-top 911 variant rolled off the production line in 1982, and it has been a constant feature in the model range ever since.

Porsche has expanded its range of compact SUVs with the addition of the powerful Macan S.

 


Demo run for the Porsche Cayman GT4 Rallye on snow and ice.

Porsche is planning a return to rallying. For this, the motorsport department in Weissach is developing the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport to comply with the FIA R-GT regulations. The vehicle should be ready to contest the 2020 season. 

 


Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport with 700 hp.

Near standard and yet spectacular – the new Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport celebrated its world premiere at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The 515 kW (700 hp) racing version of the road-legal 911 GT2 RS* sports car is limited to 200 units and can be run at clubsport events as well as selected motorsport meets.

Porsche has set another new record on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife in cooperation with Manthey-Racing. On Thursday, 25 October 2018, the Porsche GT2 RS MR with 515 kW (700 hp) completed a lap of the 20.6-kilometre long circuit in 6:40.3 minutes. 
 


New GTS models: two athletes join the Porsche Panamera family.

Porsche has added two extra sporty models to its Panamera range. With powerful performance from the four-litre V8 biturbo engine, extra dynamic systems, and their own unique design elements and equipment, the Panamera GTS and Panamera GTS Sport Turismo harness a one-of-a-kind performance package.
