COVID-19 Measures.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, I wanted to let you know how Porsche Centre Melbourne is ensuring the safety and well-being of our valued Porsche owners as well as our own staff.

As we continue to operate, we have implemented an extensive list of measures to make hygiene and safety our absolute priority and ensure we minimise risk for all concerned.

Our Dealership

We have implemented a ‘non-contact policy’ in all areas of the Porsche Centre. This means avoiding shaking hands or close contact including hugging. We are also keeping a safe distance between all people as much as possible.

It is a requirement that a face mask is worn at all times* and social distancing is maintained. Upon entry to the dealership your temperature will be taken by an automatic scanner. You will also be required to record your name, mobile number and time of entry/exit.​

We have worked with our cleaning provider to significantly increase the level of sanitisation right across the dealership, especially in customer waiting areas. All coffee tables, chairs and sitting areas are being individually sanitised after every use with a hospital grade disinfectant.

Hand sanitiser is available for staff and guests throughout the dealership.

Your Porsche

Vehicles arriving for service will have all interior surfaces cleaned with sanitiser as soon as they are dropped off, once service work is completed the same process will apply again. This includes exterior and interior door handles, steering wheels, arm rests, screens and switches, gear levers and paddles and also keys.

Additionally, all Demonstrator and Service Loan Vehicles are being disinfected immediately before and after each test drive.

Your Porsche Centre Staff

All staff in our Sales and Service departments have been given strict and detailed instructions on additional measures they should adhere to at this time. This includes guidance on washing hands, personal hygiene and instructions for immediate reporting and self-isolation if they begin to show any symptoms. Also, to mitigate risk, we have split all of our dealership staff into two teams.

Your Service Bookings

With less staff in the dealership at any one time, we have implemented an ‘Appointment Only’ policy across the business. This means that we ask that you contact us in advance before visiting. It also means that some service bookings may need to be rescheduled - you will be contacted if your booking is affected. Please speak to our service department if you have any questions or concerns.

Your Sales Enquiries

On arrival to the dealership please use the side entrance located adjacent to Rokeby Street where you will be met by our concierge. Please note all other doors will remain locked.

Your Contacts

Please continue to contact us via the normal methods. While some staff may be working from home, we will ensure your enquiry is handled in the usual timely and professional manner.

In these fast-changing times, we are monitoring developments daily and enhancing our processes as required. If there are changes to our usual rhythm of business, we will communicate these as soon as possible.

As we face these unique circumstances, we ask that everyone continues to follow the advice of health authorities in relation to hygiene and well-being, including self-isolation if applicable.
